Hello it has been some time since I have written a blog about my life as a pet sitter or as I prefer, pet carer.

My aim is to post regularly but not necessarily every day.

Some of you will know me but for those of you who don’t I am Sue Eltringham and started my pet care business just over 4 years ago.

It has been an interesting and mostly fun journey, one I see no end to just yet. I have met many many dogs and have had the privilege of being a big part of some very special dogs lives. Some I have known since I started and some who have literally grown with me!

I will use this blog to share some of the highlights and lowlights of my life without getting bogged down with the boring stuff

This morning I raced around to leave the house by 8 to visit a little cat, jumped into my van only to discover I don’t start her visits until tomorrow!   Yesterday I made a visit to another customer only to find they were home and definitely not expecting me!

Milo and I took Maisie our current boarder to explore Thurne. I hope in the future to be able to share our routes.   It was very warm but we all had a lovely time walking across fields and beside the river.

Once home they slept and I caught up on some admin.  Weekends are usually quiet for us here. A chance for some r and r and for Milo to get some good quality time with me.

A bit about Maisie, she arrived today and immediately made herself at home by chilling out, dozing on the kitchen floor even before her mum left. Maisie is a sweet little black Labrador and is so contented.  She loved running through the stubble with Milo this morning.

Keep checking as I will be writing again soon as I’m off to feed the brood now!
